Popular Nollywood star, Nkechi Blessing, has provided information on her visit to the palace of Oba Adeyeye, the Ooni of Ife, in the wake of the online controversies that the visit sparked.
Recall how the stunning actress sparked a commotion on the Nigerian internet when a picture of her laughing shyly at the Ooni’s feet while wearing a white dress leaked.

On her Instagram feed, Blessing posted a picture of herself and the king along with the statement, “Ever met a jovial king?” Well, this picture says it all. I have never laughed this hard in a long time.”
Nkechi’s post elicited a flood of responses from Nigerians, with many speculating that she wants to be the king’s eighth wife.
Nkechi clarified her visit to the palace in an updated post, claiming that it was because she had been chosen to serve as one of the judges for the Queen Moremi pageant.
She also revealed that Queen Ronke Ademiluyi, one of the Ooni of Ife’s wives, had given her a royal hand fan.
“It was an honor to be invited to the palace by her Royal majesty Olori Aderonke Ademiluyi Ogunwusi as one of the judges for @qminternational indeed we be doing so much good in the eyes of strangers. I do not take this opportunity and privilege for granted ma. When I got that call, I tot the king was going to put me in prison but one mind told me NBS Go on that trip you might be wrong.
“Now it doesn’t matter what name you call me, Olosho, ashawo, dirty, razz, uncouth, infact I have been called diff names on this app, but I did nothing but focus!
