Big Brother Naija star, Maria has revealed that she sought forgiveness through prayer after mistakenly calling out highly respected religious figure, Apostle Selman, several months ago.
Recall that earlier in the year, the reality TV star turned show host had confused Apostle Joshua Selman with another person she was accused of having a romantic relationship with.

In response to the allegation, Maria left a comment on a tweet from a parody account impersonating Apostle Selman, inquiring politely if he was the person she was accused of being involved with.

Upon realizing her error, Maria removed the tweet and offered an apology to the clergyman.
During a recent conversation with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Maria spoke about the situation and shared that she prayed and sincerely asked for forgiveness upon realizing her mistake of mistakenly calling out a well-respected religious leader.
Maria also expressed her embarrassment for mistakenly implicating a man of God who was completely unrelated to the accusations.
“I didn’t know there were two different people… I was mortified… The guy is very respectable, and I had to dig into who he was, and that’s why I prayed”, she said.
