Allegations have surfaced that Grammy-winning Nigerian Superstar, Burna Boy, ignored the only Nigerian journalist present at the recently concluded Met Gala.
As you may recall, Burna Boy made his first appearance at the prestigious fashion event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 1st.

Following the event, Kachi, a journalist from Arise TV news, accused Burna Boy of ignoring her, which she considered an offense not only to herself but to the entire country of Nigeria.
A video purportedly showing Burna Boy snubbing Kachi has been circulating on social media, but it appears to present a different narrative.
In the video, the musician, who was dressed in a custom Burberry outfit, was seen ascending the stairs while Kachi called out “Odogwu” to attract his attention.
Burna Boy proceeded to the media booth and briefly spoke to another reporter. Despite Kachi’s repeated requests for an interview, Burna Boy departed from the scene, but he turned back and courteously informed her that he had to go.
Kachi was displeased with Burna Boy’s behavior, and she accused him of “ignoring” her. She admitted to being furious and nearly breaking down in tears at the media booth because she felt ashamed of calling out “Odogwu” to Burna Boy and being disregarded.
