A Nigerian lady, Itohan, has shared her disappointing experience after investing in $Davido Coin, a new cryptocurrency launched by popular singer David Adeleke. With high hopes of making a profit, Itohan invested N210,000 (approximately $157.68) in the coin. However, her dreams were shattered when the value of her investment plummeted to N27,000 (around $20.51) within just 24 hours.
Itohan took to social media to share her story, posting screenshots of her dashboard showing the drastic decline in her investment. She captioned the post, “How it started and how it’s going,” expressing her disappointment and regret. In the comment section, she explained that she had missed out on the initial opportunity to invest in the coin but was convinced by the positive reviews and publicity to buy in at a higher price.

Unfortunately, her decision proved costly, as the value of the coin dropped significantly shortly after she invested. Itohan attributed the decline to a sudden sell-off by investors after David Adeleke spoke about the coin in a midnight space.
