Nollywood actress and human rights activist, Tonto Dikeh, criticized Pastor Tunde Bakare for suggesting that the late singer Mohbad, who passed away on September 12, 2023, faced consequences for his actions during his lifetime.

Following the controversies surrounding the death of the 27-year-old artist Mohbad, Pastor Tunde Bakare mentioned in a recent sermon that the late singer faced the consequences of his lifestyle.
Tonto Dikeh, a Nollywood actress and human rights activist, criticized Pastor Bakare for this statement, urging him to apply the same scrutiny to his colleagues with sex scandals and suggesting that he should keep Mohbad’s name out of his preaching.
She emphasized the importance of exhibiting wisdom in old age rather than making loose comments.
“Dear pastor Tunde, When your colleagues are caught with their pants down in unholy sexual activities. We never hear your voice, you never speak nor preach about them,” she wrote.
“It comes to the death of a boy who is old enough to be your last born and you say ‘he reaped the reward of his actions. ‘What Actions?
“Please please please keep the same energy with your corrupted Colleagues as you just did today. It is the anointing of God upon your head that is making me not go off on this loose comment of yours.
“I have learned over the years that if you have nothing nice to say, Keep mute (do not talk at all). Preach your gospel and leave Mohbad’s name out of your ministration. I do not respect old age, I respect the wisdom you exhibit at old age.”
