Hurray! Excellent opportunity for African American students who want to pursue higher education abroad. For the academic year 2024–2025, submit an application for the Fully financed Scholarships for African American Students. For exceptional and deserving students, numerous universities and organizations offer incredible educational opportunities.

The majority of these scholarships are only available to students from developing nations and Africa. They are made to assist these students’ education.

1. Canadian University of Toronto The MasterCard Foundation Award

In order to assist the education of exceptional students, the University of Toronto is affiliated with the MasterCard Foundation. The goal of the MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program is to prepare Africa’s upcoming leaders. 67 African students will be given the chance to further their education at a university in Canada, one of the best universities in the world, in a world-class learning environment.

2. Graduate Scholarship Program in Japan in Partnership with the World Bank

The Joint/Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program, which is open to students from developing countries who want to pursue a Masters degree, is proudly provided by the governments of Japan and the World Bank.

The master’s degree program in development-related fields such as economics, health, education, agriculture, environment, natural resource management, or any development-related field must be pursued by qualified students.

3. Commonwealth Grants

Each year, the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission requests a certain number of nominations for the Commonwealth Scholarship for Developing Countries from each nominating agency, university, or university organization.

In most situations, the closing date for the selection process will be established by the nominating agency, university, or university body months before the CSC’s deadline for nominations. Each year, between 200 and 230 scholarships are given out.

4. Scholarships for African Students in the USA from Harambe Fletcher

Young African entrepreneurs who want to pursue a master’s degree via Tufts University’s Fletcher School are eligible for the Harambe Fletcher Scholarship, which covers all of their tuition costs.

Suitable Subject Area:

degree in law and diplomacy, master of arts (MALD)
a professional degree in international affairs that is two years long, extremely flexible, and interdisciplinary.
International Business Master’s (MIB)
a two-year degree program that combines international affairs and business

5. Program for Borlaug Fellowships in Developing Nations

A fantastic Fellowship Program in International Agricultural Science and Technology is being offered by the Norman E. Borlaug. By giving visiting researchers, decision-makers, and university professors access to scientific training and collaborative research opportunities, the educational program aims to assist developing nations in increasing the use of sustainable agricultural methods.

6. Scholarship for Emerging Global Leaders at American University

The Emerging Global Leader Scholarship was created by the American University to increase access to quality education and promote global diversity. For those students who want to enroll in undergraduate degree curriculum, the educational program is accessible. Students who have overcome multiple obstacles and hardships as well as those from varied and underrepresented global and socioeconomic backgrounds will be given consideration for this grant.

7. Merit Scholarships at American Universities

International students are eligible for partial scholarships from American University based on their merit. They are not full scholarships, though.

They are very selective and determined by a mix of exceptional academic performance, great English communication skills, leadership, volunteerism, and community involvement. The grants every academic year ranged from US$6,000 to US$25,000.

8. Scholarships for Colby-Sawyer College

Colby-Sawyer College is happy to announce that it offers high-achieving and deserving students financing opportunities based on merit and need. There are several scholarships available, including merit-based scholarships, Founder scholarships, Presidential scholarships, and others. The amount of each grant varies depending on academic achievement and can reach $24,000 each year.

Academic scholarships are automatically awarded based on a student’s grade point average (GPA) or similar letter and number grades from their secondary school transcripts or, if available, their college or university transcripts. Not all of the college’s financial needs are met.
