According to reports, a father has allegedly requested his son, who is reportedly 19 years old, to return the N38 million he earned from sports betting.
The young man had wagered only N400 but ended up winning a substantial amount, which he then brought home.

Expressing disapproval towards sports betting, the father urged his son to promptly return the money to its source.
An anonymous message detailing the story was transmitted through the messaging platform NGL.
Subsequently, the complete message surfaced online.
Within the message, the boy’s sibling is reaching out to the public, seeking guidance on handling the predicament.
The sender expressed distress over the imminent rent payment and the ensuing conflict between their father and mother due to the father’s refusal to accept the betting winnings.
Despite witnessing the winning ticket, the father adamantly rejects allowing the money into their household, insisting that it should be returned to the betting company.
The message reads:
“My 19yr old kid bro won 38M with 450 naira and my dad is insisting he returns the money because he doesn’t support gamb’ling despite explaining and showing him the slip, he’s still insisting. Our rent is due in two months, now it has caused issues between him and mum. Kindly advice.”
