To age 70 years is a big deal in this generation and it also costs for celebration, historically, in Nigeria, it is a big grace when a man aged 70 because not everyone has the opportunity to cross such milestones.

This year, some of the Nigerian most prominent public figures and celebrities are to be celebrating 70 years of age this year and without further ado follow the lists below to see them.

Doyin Okupe

Adedoyin Ajibike Okupe popularly known as Doyin Akupe is a Nigerian Physician, politician, and also special assistant as media and publicity to former president Olusegun Obasanjo.

Doyin is a co-founder at Royal cross medical centre and was a National publicity secretary of the National Republican Convention (NRC) and senior special assistant on public affairs to former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Adedoyin Ajibike was born on March 22, 1952, and already celebrated his 70th birthday about 5 months ago.

2. Adams Oshiomole

Adam Oshiomole is a Nigerian politician who was born on April 4th 1952, this means he celebrated his birthday about 5 months ago.

Oshiomole is the former national chairman of the All progressive congress (APC) and also served the Nigeria Labour Congress dated from 1999 to 2007 and as the executive governor of Edo state.

He was later suspended from APC National chairman by the Abuja court of appeal in 2020.

3. Onyeka Onwenu

Onyeka Onwenu is a very popular Nigerian singer/songwriter, actress, human right activist, social activist, journalist, politician, and former X Factor series judge. She has been responsible for such hits as One Love, Bia Nulu, Iyogogo, and Ekwe. As an actress, she has starred in such productions as Lionheart, Half of a Yellow Sun, Muna, and God Calling.

Onyeka Onwenu was born on the 31st of January 1952 making her 70 years old as of this year.

4. Bola Tinubu

Bola Tinubu is a Nigerian accountant and politician who served as the Governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007 and Senator for Lagos West during the brief Third Republic. In June 2022, he was chosen and announced as the All Progressives Congress nominee in the 2023 Nigerian presidential election.

Bola Tinubu was born on the 29th of March 1952 making him 70 years old as of this year.

5. Cletus Ibeto

Cletus Madubugwu Ibeto is a Nigerian businessman most popular for making Ibeto Cement. He is the head of The Ibeto Group, the largest business enterprise from Nnewi and apart from cement, they are also known for making automative spare parts.

6. Mary Odili

Mary Ukaego Odili is a Nigerian judge and wife of Peter Odili, who served as Governor of Rivers State from 1999 to 2007. She was appointed an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria (JSC) by President Goodluck Jonathan and was administered the oath of office by Chief Justice Katsina-Alu on 23 June 2011.

Mary Odili was born on the 12th of May 1952 and clocked 70 years old earlier this year.

7. Oga Bello

Adebayo Salami popularly known by his stage name Oga Bello, is a veteran Nigerian actor, filmmaker, movie producer and director. He has starred in movies like Ajani Ogun, Kadara, Ogun, and more.

Oga Bello was born on the 9th of May 1952 meaning that he already clocked 70 years old earlier this year.
