Amidst a family crisis, Danielle, the eldest child and only daughter of renowned Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has recently deleted the surname ‘Edochie’ from her Instagram bio.
The Edochie family has faced a series of unfortunate events and controversy following the actor’s decision to have a child with his fellow actress, Judy Austin, and subsequently marrying her as his second wife.

Recently, Yul made headlines when he shared a video featuring Judy expressing gratitude to God for the safe arrival of their child.
However, this action received criticism from many who deemed it “insensitive.” The timing of the video, just weeks after the tragic loss of his first son with his former wife, May, contributed to the negative reaction.
Despite criticism, the actor remained unperturbed and shared another video. This time, he and Judy were captured singing along to a song while inside his car.
In the aftermath of the contentious events, Danielle made a significant change to her Instagram bio by removing her father’s surname, ‘Edochie.’ Instead, she opted to use the surname ‘Dubem.’ However, despite the modification, she retained her Instagram handle as ‘danielleyuledochie.’
