Nigerian musician, Seun Kuti has taken a shot at first lady Aisha Buhari, daring her to send officers from the Department of State Services to arrest him.
This comes just days after Muhammed Aminu, a final-year student at the Federal University Dutse in Jigawa State, was arrested and held for alleged character defamation after posting a disrespectful tweet in which he labeled the first lady “fat” and accused her of consuming people’s money.
In an apparent response to the incident, Seun Kuti publicly insulted Aisha Buhari with the same language Aminu used, and dared her to send the police to pick him up like they did Aminu.
Kuti stated authoritatively in the video that Aisha Buhari should be prosecuted for misuse of power considering she lacks the constitutional right to arrest a citizen for mere statements.
He added that if Nigeria is not a lawless country, the first lady should be imprisoned right now.
