A video that has been circulating on the internet shows a woman assaulting her best friend during their wedding ceremony for marrying her husband.
The incident occurred recently in a Northern state of Nigeria.

As per tradition, the new bride approached the older wife to offer her greetings and be welcomed into the family, but instead, the first wife became enraged and physically attacked her friend.
The reason behind the attack was that the first wife was deeply hurt by her friend’s decision to become her husband’s second wife.
She had supported him with her inheritance, and they had built a prosperous life together, but the husband’s decision to take her best friend as his second wife led to her outburst at the wedding.
The attack happened in front of their guests.
