Lade, an up-and-coming Nigerian musician, has shared her anxiety-inducing encounter residing in the United Kingdom (UK) via social media.
In an Instagram post, the singer of the song “Adulthood Na Scam” claimed that the UK is not as impressive as it is depicted on social media and that the day-to-day reality of living there is a far cry from what people perceive.

According to her statement, the weather in the UK is exceedingly cold, and every morning she wakes up with either a sore throat or blocked nose, which she believes is not a suitable way of life.
Lade also added that the UK is not a suitable destination for the faint of heart, especially for students balancing academics and employment, as it is highly stressful. She noted that most of them work tirelessly with no opportunities to relax.
Furthermore, she advised individuals to appreciate any financial assistance they receive from their UK-based relatives since earning a living in the UK is a challenging feat.
Lade declared that she is not accustomed to such a lifestyle and would swiftly return to Nigeria.
