A video has surfaced of Nigerian musician Oluseun Anikulapo Kuti, also known as Seun Kuti, pushing and slapping a police officer during a confrontation on Third Mainland Bridge.
It is unclear what sparked the altercation, but the officer remained calm as the singer addressed him.

The video sparked outrage among netizens who argued that the singer showed disrespect for the uniform and had no right to physically assault a law enforcement officer.

In a recent update, the singer posted on his Instagram story that he had evidence that the police officer had tried to harm him and his family.
Seun also mentioned that the officer had already apologized, and he had decided not to pursue legal action.
He wrote;
“He tried to kill me and my family.
I have the proof but I no dey chase clout. He has apologised and I have agreed not to press charges. Make una mind una business make the poor
guy no lose him job.”
