Odumodublvck, an up-and-coming Nigerian rapper, recently disclosed that he declined an invitation to perform at the inauguration event for President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a tweet posted on Thursday, May 25, which has since been deleted, the rapper, recognized for his popular track “Declan Rice,” shared this information on the micro-blogging platform Twitter.

Odumodublvck stated that the team responsible for the inauguration reached out to him, extending an invitation to perform at the upcoming ceremony on May 29. However, he turned down the offer.
Expressing his viewpoint, the rapper mentioned that the organizers should have conducted thorough research before approaching him, implying that he does not align with the political beliefs of the president-elect.
He tweeted: “They tried to get me to perform at the inauguration, They did not do their research.”
