Nollywood actress Yetunde Bakare stated that pursuing money over love makes more sense for individuals.
She argued that it would be better for everyone in the long run to bnb sacrifice true love in order to attain financial security.

Yetunde stated on her Instagram page that it is preferable to be wealthy when one experiences heartbreak because they may then sob while full.
She believed that it was preferable to be wealthy and unhappy than to be poor and distraught at the same time.
She wrote;
“Sometimes leave true Love and Chase MONEY … It’s better to cry on a filled stomach than empty stomach don’t be broke and heartbroken.”
Yetunde Bakare previously shared her opinions on religion and her personal encounters with both Islam and Christianity.
She stated on her Instagram account that she believed the Muslim society to be more cohesive than the Christian one. She also mentioned how Muslims and Christians could view those they disagree with or hate differently.
Yetunde asserts that although a Christian would smile at someone they detest or disagree with, generating a sense of tension and insincerity, a Muslim would be plain and direct if they did not like someone.
