Two popular American hip-hop artists, Kodak Black and Lil Durk, expressed their sorrow over the recent passing of a rising Nigerian rapper known as Mohbad. They shared their grief during an Instagram live session with their fans.
Kodak Black, one of the artists, revealed that he had only discovered Mohbad’s social media presence a few days before the sad news of his passing at the young age of 27. The news deeply affected them, prompting them to join their fans in mourning the loss of this promising talent from Nigeria.

He said, “R.I.P to Mohbad. Kodak you were his neighborhood hero till he passing. Damn!
“What’s so crazy right now is I just ran across this n*gga’s page this week -few days ago-
“Sleep well wherever you are, man.”
Similarly, Lil Durk paid his last respect to the late Nigerian rapper via his Instagram story and X handle on Tuesday.
He wrote, “RIP Mohbad aka Imole.”
