The Majority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Sanjo Adedoyin, is currently grieving the loss of his first son, Faith Adedoyin. Faith, a student at Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso, was tragically involved in a fatal road accident.

The incident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, September 27, near Ilobu-Okinni-Osogbo in Osun State. Faith, a 500-level Accounting student, was returning from a visit to the Erin-Ijesa Waterfall along with fellow students when the tragic crash took place.
Lekan Fadeyi, the Public Relations Officer of the institution, officially confirmed the unfortunate event through a statement on Thursday, September 28. The victims were primarily students from the accounting department, traveling in two separate vehicles.
Professor Razaq Olatunde Kalilu, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University, expressed condolences for the loss of two students and the bus driver. He extended sympathies to the parents of the deceased and prayed for strength for the survivors to cope with this loss. Additionally, he prayed for the swift recovery of those still receiving medical care in various hospitals.
