In the wake of the shocking death hoax that swept through social media recently, Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, better known as Oladips, has issued a heartfelt apology to his fans and the Nigerian people.
Speaking in an interview with Naija FM, Oladips expressed deep remorse for the confusion and emotional distress caused by the incident. He vehemently denied any involvement in staging his death or playing a cruel prank on his followers.

“To Nigerians and my core followers, I will never play with people’s emotions like that,” Oladips stated. “It was never a prank. I was really sick.”
He acknowledged his illness, but also revealed the unfortunate fact that his management team had mishandled the situation by issuing a false alarm regarding his health. He took full responsibility for the incident and vowed to learn from the experience.
Oladips revealed a disturbing truth about his management, accusing them of exploitation and even wishing him harm. He admitted to operating without a manager for some time due to these issues.
“I have experienced a lot of things, including my manager siphoning my money, wishing me death,” Oladips confessed.”So, it got to a point where I didn’t even have manager again. It was just me and my boys.”
Oladips is committed to making amends and moving forward with a team of professionals. He emphasized the importance of surrounding himself with individuals who understand the industry and possess the necessary expertise to handle sensitive situations.
“Right now, I’m just trying to select the right people and make sure that they are professionals that know the right thing to do,” Oladips said. “No be person wey because he no hear from my mum, he feel like, ‘Ah! This guy don go [die].'”
He believes that a lack of professionalism on his manager’s part led to the irresponsible announcement of his death.
“If he [my manager] was a professional person he would not do such,” Oladips remarked. “That is why I said I take full responsibility. So, I’m really sorry. Make una forgive me abeg.”
