At his highly-anticipated ‘Timeless’ concert at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos on April 23, popular Afrobeat artist Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, had to defend himself against an anti-fan who attempted to attack him on stage, resulting in a frightening incident.
A video that has become viral on the internet depicts Davido performing his popular song ‘Fia’ when an individual climbs onto the stage and charges at him from behind.

Fortunately, Davido reacted swiftly, turning around and nearly punching the anti-fan before security stepped in to remove him, preventing any harm from coming to the singer.
The video has generated a significant buzz on social media, with many commending Davido for his rapid response and capacity to defend himself.
