On September 24, 2023, Pastor Tunde Bakare suggested that the late musician, MohBad (Ilerioluwa Aloba), might have faced the consequences of his actions during his lifetime.
According to the Independent, Pastor Bakare spoke during a church event in Leicester, UK. He talked about the late musician MohBad and how he had been associating with questionable people during his lifetime.

In his sermon, titled ‘Harvest,’ Pastor Bakare mentioned, “My wife and I were listening to a tape last night about MohBad. How many of you are familiar with MohBad? The Nigerian artist who passed away at 27, MohBad.”
He went on to discuss how MohBad had been involved in drinking, smoking, and mingling with people of questionable character. Pastor Bakare pointed out that at that time, MohBad probably didn’t realize that the consequences of his actions would catch up to him so soon, leading to his untimely passing. He didn’t place blame on MohBad but used his story as a cautionary example.
