Because of Mohbad’s unexpected death, a few radio stations across the country decided not to play any songs from the label Marlian Records.

A famous TV host on MTV Base, called DadaBoy Ehiz, shared this news about MTV Base not playing Marlian music anymore.

He made the announcement on his X handle.

He tweeted: “Mtvbase dropped everything Marlian … kudos to dem.”

The move by MTV comes after the emergence of several videos of harassment and bullying of Mohbad, leading many to point accusing fingers at the label’s boss and his well-known associate, Sam Larry.
