A recently-wed woman discussed her plight with the hosts of the ‘I Said What I Said’ podcast.
She had forgotten to tell her husband that her father had gifted her a considerable sum of money after their marriage, as per their family tradition.

It was only when she put the money into an investment that it grew to 35 million naira. Her husband found out and expressed his displeasure, knowing that she knew everything about his finances yet didn’t offer help when they were unable to purchase their desired apartment.
She explained that she had genuinely forgotten and saw no reason to mention it.
