Addressing Governor Sanwo Olu, the entertainer urged him to use his authority to ensure that all investigations into the death of her colleague are carried out thoroughly and transparently. She stressed that they did not want an audio investigation alone, as they had failed their colleague when he was alive. This time, he had paid the ultimate price, and they could not afford to fail him again.
As parents, we are making the revolution a reality. The autopsy must be performed. When I met him, he was deeply disturbed and paranoid.
My lawyer and my foundation will send letters to you and other international bodies, one after the other, starting on Monday. We are doing this to demand justice. We will also come to your office on Tuesday or Wednesday to discuss this further. We are committed to peaceful protest.
