Controversial Nigerian businesswoman, Jaruma Empire, asked her followers their opinion on attending President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s swearing-in ceremony on May 29, 2023.
She wondered if doing so when not having voted for him could be seen as a betrayal of loyalty.

A politician had invited her to the event and she wanted to know if she should accept or not.
Jaruma added that she had three former vice presidents and a former governor that she’d dated in the past who may ask her to attend Tinubu’s inauguration with them; nevertheless, she clarified that going would not necessarily mean they were starting a relationship again.
