Queen Tobi Phillips, the third wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, recently declared that domestic violence would be an absolute deal-breaker in any relationship she is in.
During an interview on TVC, the ex-World Miss University Africa highlighted that she would never stay in a marriage if her husband ever tries to abuse her.
She further clarified that the Ooni would never demean or mistreat her, since he is a very reasonable and hale man who knows the weight of communication within a marriage.

Her words,
“My deal breaker is don’t ever lay your hands on me. If that happens it’s over. And he (Ooni of Ife) is not that kind of person. If you have a relationship where you can communicate and share your likes and dislikes and you respect each other. With that, you guys will not get to the point where you are clashing. Because when something is happening, you can easily call your husband and say, ‘i don’t like this’ and vice versa.”
Her appreciation for him occurred shortly after their wedding when she expressed how grateful she was for him making her wish come true.
She had wanted Timi Dakolo to perform his romantic song ‘Iyawo Mi’ at their nuptials and the Osun monarch made it happen.
Tobi shared a wonderful video of them together along with clips from their wedding day and showered blessings upon him and wished everyone a happy new month.
