Veteran Nollywood actress, Margaret Bandele Olayinka, popularly known as Iya Gbonkan, has made a heartfelt appeal to compassionate individuals in Nigeria, urging them to assist her in acquiring a car.

Highlighting the challenges she faces due to her age and experience, Iya Gbonkan revealed that she continues to rely on walking and public transportation to move from one location to another.

With sincerity and urgency, she appealed to Nigerians, especially her devoted fans, to honor her with the gift of a car while she is still alive.

She emphasized the importance of expressing such appreciation and support during her lifetime, rather than waiting until her passing to offer tributes or grand gestures.

“I have been acting for decades, yet I don’t have a car. I rely on buses every day. If I were to die now, you would slaughter a cow. Celebrate me now while I am alive. I need a car from my fans,” she said in part.
