Popular Nigerian on-air personality Kayode Ojuolape Oladotun, better known as Do2dtun, recently expressed his distress over being unable to see his children.
In November 2021, Do2dtun’s wife, Omotayo, initiated divorce proceedings, alleging forced abortion, domestic violence, and emotional abuse.

The divorce case, registered as Suit Number: GWD/PET/25/2021, was presented before Justice A. I. Akobi of Court 23 in the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory. It was stated in the petition that Do2dtun allegedly coerced his wife into terminating her third pregnancy while they were still married.
The court granted joint custody of the children to the couple, who married in 2013 and have two children. Omotayo did not contest this decision, pending the final resolution of the case in court.
However, in a poignant Father’s Day post on his Instagram page, Do2dtun shared that he has not been able to see his children for ten months. Despite the court’s grant of joint custody, he has been denied access to them.
“Today marks a whole year since they sent me that video, and it has been 10 months since I last saw you. I miss you so much. No amount of lies, games, deceit, or slow legal processes can break me. Fife and Fiore, Daddy just wants his time with you, as he deserves it, but they deny it; they disobey the law because they are scared, cowards, and immature.
“No one should use kids as bait or weapons in a fight. Once again, they picked the wrong one this time. Every effort has been made to prevent me from exercising my rights as a father, but I won’t give in or break. I will keep fighting the right way, even though some believe they have the monopoly on madness and breaking the law. I simply don’t want to play that game just because of these wonderful kids. I am law-abiding, but I am not a fool.
“If you are a father out there, for the sake of posterity and goodwill, fight for your place and your right to be in their lives. Every child needs their father just as much as they need their mother. No one should use children as a means of power or to substitute their emotions.”
