Daniel Benson, a well-known Nigerian singer also called BNXN, shared a story about a woman who tried to trick him by claiming she was pregnant after a casual encounter they had.
The singer who made ‘Gwagwalada’ famous shared how the woman said she was expecting his child after a casual night together and asked for money. When he declined, she tried to blackmail him by posting strange photos of him online.

He narrated this in the latest episode of the Moni Talks podcast.
BNXN shared, “Someone claimed she’s carrying my baby, but I’m still waiting to see any proof. I thought, ‘Wow, that’s extreme, girl.’ She was trying to blackmail me, wanting money. When I said no, she posted strange pictures of me.”
“I didn’t really know her; it was just a one-time thing. But now, it’s causing me trouble. Yeah, it happens where people get pregnant from one-night stands. We’re still waiting for any sign of a baby, and it’s been over a year.”
The singer praised his team for handling the issue well and questioned why blackmailers often escape punishment.
