In a touching gesture, popular Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye dedicated her first AMVCA win to her father, Adekunle Ademoye.
At the 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) held in Lagos on Saturday night, May 20, the actress achieved success by winning the prestigious ‘Best Actress in a Comedy’ award for her outstanding performance in the popular series “Selina”.

After her victory, the actress, who has consistently recognized the significant role her father played in her acting career, showcased her gratitude by visiting her father’s residence and presenting him with her AMVCA plaque in a touching gesture.
She took to her social media platforms and posted a video in which she documented her journey as she drove to her father’s house for the memorable occasion.
In the accompanying caption, she affectionately referred to him as her greatest supporter and pillar, reminiscing about the time he accompanied her to her initial audition, patiently waiting for six hours until her audition concluded.
