In a fit of rage, a Nigerian man burned his Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) in opposition to Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the country’s recently elected president.

The person with the Twitter handle @alhajinuell took to the microblogging site to vehemently criticize the deprivation of voting rights and suspected irregularities during the election.
He believes that Nigerians’ votes ultimately don’t matter, thus he sees no reason to maintain his voter registration card.
Our votes don’t matter, he wrote on a snapshot of a voter card that he had torn into smaller pieces.

He received criticism on Twitter for trashing his voter’s card, and a follower questioned how he would cast his ballot in future elections. The man replied that he was done with the election in Nigeria.
