Ace Nigerian music executive Don Jazzy has heaped praise on up-and-coming rapper OdumoduBlvck, saying that his style is reminiscent of the old-school hip hop phenomenon in Nigeria.
In a recent interview, the Mavin CEO said that he is a big fan of OdumoduBlvck’s rapping, which he described as “beautiful” and “authentic.”

“He reminds me of Nigerian hip hop music before our time,” Don Jazzy said. “It gives me that old school vibes, and then fusing the urban style into it makes it cool and dope.”
Don Jazzy even went as far as to perform a portion of an unreleased song by OdumoduBlvck to demonstrate how well-written his lyrics are.
“I like him, I like him a lot,” Don Jazzy said. “I think he’s got a lot of potential, and I’m excited to see what he does next.”
OdumoduBlvck is a 29-year-old rapper from Lagos, Nigeria. He started rapping in 2015, and has since released a number of singles and EPs. His music is a blend of old-school hip hop and modern urban sounds.
