Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has shared a story about how he instructed his fan club to handle a promoter who pretended not to recognize him.
During a recent interview on REAL 92.3FM, the artist behind the hit album ”Timeless” recounted this incident, which has sparked considerable outrage on social media.

According to Davido, he had a heated argument with a promoter whom he believed had romantic feelings for him. In the midst of the disagreement, she deliberately claimed to have no knowledge of his identity, seemingly aiming to provoke a reaction from him.
Davido, feeling deeply offended by the promoter’s comment and wanting to respond in kind, opted to retaliate. He reached out to his fans, urging them to drag the promoter and expose her for underestimating his value.
Recounting the incident with great enthusiasm in his voice, the 30-year-old singer described how his fans filled the promoter’s DM with hateful messages until she was compelled to offer him an apology.
