The rising Afrobeats singer, Ruger, shared how Davido Adeleke, a senior artist, has been a major supporter of his career, even before he became widely known. Ruger opened up about this during an interview, highlighting Davido’s significant role in helping him along the way.

Ruger mentioned that he first met Davido in 2020, before he became famous in 2021. He also said that Davido has been giving him significant support for a while, including helping to promote his music.

Ruger said, “Davido has been supporting me since the early days of my career, even before I became known in 2021. He discovered me in 2020, listened to my songs, liked them, and started promoting them. He’s been helping me get the word out about my music.
