Celina Quinones and her spouse, Joseph Quinones, who had been in a blissful marriage for 17 years and were blessed with three beautiful children, were surprised to learn that they were cousins after taking a DNA test to trace their lineage.
Celina stumbled upon this revelation while exploring her family history, which was shocking for both of them.

Sharing her experience on TikTok through her handle, @realestatemommas, Celina recounted the moment when she found out that her husband was her cousin.
Per her account, they tied the knot in 2006 and had children before realizing their relationship.
“Married my husband in 2006. Not thinking anything of it we had three kids. Come to find out we were related and cousins.” She wrote.
Celina posted a video on social media, encouraging other couples to examine their ancestry after her own experience.
In another video, she explained that her family has come to terms with the situation because their children are unaffected by any genetic conditions or abnormalities.
“This was three kids in that I found out we were related. I did my DNA test I think in 2016 and yeah it was devastating because I was like ‘babe we’re related are we even supposed to be together? This is weird’. It really freaked me out.
“I wouldn’t change it for the world… Husband and wife for life! There is a reason why good couples look alike. I am just over here raising awareness. My kids and my husband are my everything and we looked past it. All our kids have 10 fingers and 10 toes. It’s a good ice breaker lol.” She wrote.
