In a significant development, the police have exhumed the remains of the late musician known as Ilerioluwa Promise, also called Mohbad. This information was officially confirmed by the Lagos State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Ben Hundeyin, through his Twitter account.

The Lagos police command had earlier formed a 13-member probe panel following Governor Sanwo-Olu’s directive. As part of their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the musician’s sudden demise, an autopsy will be conducted immediately.

In a statement shared on his X platform (formerly Twitter), Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, confirmed the exhumation of the singer’s body as a crucial step in their ongoing investigation.
He tweeted: “Exhumation completed. Autopsy to commence. #JusticeForMohad #Justice4Mohbad.”
