According to reports, renowned Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has suffered the loss of his first son with his first wife, May, named Kambilichukwu Edochie.
The cause of death is still unknown, but sources suggest that Kambilichukwu collapsed while playing football with his friends.

According to a relative who spoke to Vanguard, the 16-year-old spent the night before his Wednesday exams reading extensively. Later, after completing his exams, he played football with his friends.
During the game, he suddenly collapsed and suffered a seizure. He was quickly transported to Mother and Child Hospital, but sadly, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
After his exam in school, he joined his mates to play football and he developed a seizure and was rushed to Mother and Child Hospital. All efforts by the doctors to resuscitate him proved abortive,
Vanguard quoted the source as saying.
As of now, Yul Edochie and his wife May have not issued any public statements regarding the reported death of their son. Nevertheless, supporters and peers have gone on social media to share their sympathies and give solace to the actor and his loved ones.
It’s worth noting that Kambilichukwu, their son, turned 16 in January of 2023, which his parents commemorated on social media.
