Fans reacted to the post, which elicited a lot of criticism from social media users who questioned the source of his wealth.
A Twitter user @tutortosin1 wrote, “40m+ in a night? Make I no talk before some people go talk say na poverty mentality. This is obviously too much. Investing such would have been better. But who I be wey I go dey advise rich person how e go take spend him money.”
@Gernada, “While spending 40M on drinks while they’re people on the street who can’t afford to eat 2 square meal a day 40M would’ve gone a long way for the impoverished people across the country. I know some will say it doesn’t concern me, that it’s not my money but have a rethink of this”.
