According to a show promoter, Mohbad passed away on the same day his Canadian visa was approved.

A show promoter in Canada, Prince George, revealed that Mohbad, also known as Ilerioluwa Aloba, tragically passed away on the very day his Canadian visa was approved. He shared this information during a candlelight procession organized by Nigerians in Toronto, Canada.

“I had planned to surprise Bella Shmurda, Mohbad’s best friend, during his show in Canada by bringing Mohbad,” the promoter explained. “I sent a message to Mohbad’s manager on the same day his visa was approved, only to hear the shocking news that he had died mysteriously.”

Bella Shmurda, visibly upset at the event, struggled to speak and expressed his shock at the sudden death of his close friend. He shared, “This person is my brother, my friend, my best friend, you know? It’s so sad. I saw him just before leaving Nigeria, and then, two or three days later, I received the news of his death. It’s all very strange. Even my mom had to call and tell me not to come home.”
