without further ado to wasting of Time follow these five easy steps to register your PVC online.
Step 1: Visit the INEC website
Registering your PVC online, The first thing you need to do is visit the INEC registration portal and select “Get Started”.
A new page will show up and you will Click on “New Voter Pre-registration”.
Note: if you know that you have PVC before, do not use this option, it is only for a new PVC registration. There are other options for card lost or renewal of PVC card.
before I proceed, it is a crime if you attempt to obtain PVC twice in any form pls be careful. Wait for confirmation once you apply and do not apply twice.

Step 2: Create a portal account or login
Creating an account will be the second step to this process, a registration form will show up, you will be required to sign up or login an existing account, Fill in the necessary information required like full name, email address, phone number and password.
Note: it is important you use an email address you have access to because you will be required to confirm the email address with a shot code or link sent to your mail. If not seen open your email spam folder to check for mail sent.
A mail will appear from INEC CVR Portal, open it and click the link in the mail, you will be redirected to a page you have encountered earlier, but you will need to login with the previous information you have provided in the sign up page.
After you have login, you will be taken to a declaration page to confirm all information is genuine and ensure to click yes before proceeding.

Step 3: Register
After the Declaration page, you will be directed to the main registration form to apply for your PVC and the information that will be required is these below..
Biodata: name, date of birth, gender, occupation, address, NIN, and nationality.
Additional information: level of education, disability, maiden name.
Residence: country of residence, state of residence, LGA or city of residence.
Birth information: country of birth, state of birth, LGA or city of birth.
Origin information: country of origin, state of origin, LGA or city of residence, place of origin (town or village)
Polling unit: This is information about the state, local government and area you want to vote in.
A space will be provided for uploading your identity documents and others at the bottom of the page. This allow the INEC to link your information to their database before moving to the next step.
Click “Save and Continue”, and you’ll be Directed to a new page to successfully confirm your application with confirmation that your application have been updated. You can click the three dots that represent menu to view your application status.

Step 4: Upload Photographs
Next step is to take two clear close photographs of your face, one with you smiling and another with neutral expression. Now you need to upload these pictures with a click on the choose file button, and you will be taken to your camera to take pictures.
you can take new pictures or choose from the existing pictures you have on your phone. Tap on use photos and you will be taken to the next step.
note: make sure your photos are clear and well placed.

Step 5: Schedule an appointment
All the registration have been completed online except for your biometric data. Here is what you will do, yoh will schedule a convenient appointment with INEC to get your biometric data collected. Biometric are unique physical characteristics like your fingerprint, height, and others. On this page you will get a listed options of places you can do it, choose a convenient place for you and visit. It take about 30 minutes to get it done, after that you will be given a temporary voters card (TVC) make sure you keep it safe.
yoh will be contacted by the INEC office when you will get your Permanent voters card (PVC) which take about 1-3 months. Note, you need your TVC to get your PVC when the time is up.
