2023: Funke Akindele submits WASSC as her highest educational qualification ahead of Lagos governorship election


As the 2023 general elections draw closer, politicians contesting for governorship and deputy governorship positions in Lagos state have submitted documents that captured their age and educational qualifications.

Nollywood actress turned politician, Funke Akindele, has reportedly submitted only First School Leaving Certificate (FLSC) and West Africa Senior School Certificate (WASSC) to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).


The list pasted on the notice board of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) along Birrel in Yaba on Tuesday showed that Funke, who is the running mate to the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Adediran Azeez Olajide, has WASSC as her highest education qualification.

On the other hand, The PDP governorship candidate, Adediran Azeez Olajide, presented a First School Leaving Certificate (FLSC), a West Africa Senior School Certificate (WASSC), and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) certificate.
